5050 Ink Dispersant Product Manual
Product Introduction:
5050 dispersant ink is a copolymer of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene. The water-based dispersant is a wetting and dispersing agent designed for use in water-based printing inks and coating systems, particularly suitable for resin-containing grinding processes. It effectively reduces the viscosity of color pastes, imparts high gloss, ensures thermal storage stability, enhances pigment tinting strength, and significantly shortens grinding time—making it a highly cost-effective water-based dispersant.
Application:
• Grinding of resin-containing ink pigments. • Resin-containing industrial coatings and leather pigment coatings. • Water-based printing inks (flexographic and gravure). • High-concentration water-based pigments with resin-based systems.
Physical properties:
• Appearance: Colorless, transparent liquid;
• Odor: odorless;
• Solid content: 50%;
• Viscosity: 500–1000 mPas (25℃);
• pH: 6–7.Dosage:
It is recommended that the amount of ground resin in the formulation be 20% to 30%, and the dispersant should be 2% to 5% (by formulation weight). For the specific optimal dosage, please conduct a stepwise testing.
How to use:
Add before grinding, and disperse it along with the other ingredients in the formulation.
Packaging:
25 kg, 125 kg, and ton drums (subject to specific packaging specifications).
