The JA104 product is a non-ionic associative thickener based on polyurethane, modified with hydrophobic groups, and produced using advanced foreign manufacturing processes and equipment as well as high-quality imported chemical raw materials.

The JA104 product not only boasts excellent thickening performance but also features a thickening system with excellent leveling and flow properties. It is widely used in various water-based systems, including latex paints and adhesives, particularly in high- and mid-range interior and exterior architectural waterborne coatings, waterborne industrial paints (such as those for wood, furniture, and metals), water-based inks, waterborne adhesives, and petrochemical water treatment systems.

In the design of water-based architectural and industrial latex paints, JA104 Thanks to its high thickening efficiency, excellent flow and leveling properties, outstanding film-forming uniformity, and superior gloss performance, this product is widely applicable in both interior and exterior coatings—from matte to high-gloss formulations. ◆ Instructions for Use

The usage of this product is determined based on the customer’s formulation design. The recommended addition level is 0.2% to 1.0% of the total formulation weight. Customers can also combine this product with other types of thickeners according to different requirements for production, storage, application, and film formation, in order to meet the rheological performance specifications of the formulation design. Among these:

During winter storage and transportation, appropriate antifreeze measures should be taken. (If the product freezes, after it thaws, stir it thoroughly. If no granular crystals are observed upon inspection, it can continue to be used.)

Validity period: two years.
